Midsummer Meadow Sweater

ny bild 1.JPG

Midsummer Meadow Sweater - an airy and warm sweater to wear on the midsummer´s eve when the chill is setting in but you still want to feel nicely dressed up. Perfect to pull over a dress when it´s time to pick seven types of flowers to place under your pillow! The sweater is worked from the top down with a folded collar, short rows at the back neck for a nice fit and a yoke with lace flowers. The sleeves are worked straight all the way down to the longer ribbing, where the rapid decreases form a little puff. The ribbed edges of the sleeves and body are worked with twisted stitches and eyelets which makes a neat finish. I have used a hand dyed sock yarn from Myrans Maskor, a Swedish hand dyer, held together with a strand of fine mohair silk from Järbo Garn. Whether you are at a party or at work I believe you will feel pretty in this sweater!
